A chance remark in Ormskirk library led QLocal reporter Roger Blaxall to this story about a cyber attack at St Bede's RC High.
Evidently lots of pupils printed off their art work at the library after the incident last week
School statement from head Dan Morgan: "Late last week we became aware of a suspected cyber attack on our school IT network.
"We immediately took preventative steps and triggered our Cyber Security Response Plan.
"We have been working closely with our security providers to resolve the issue and have informed all the relevant agencies, including the police.
"This issue has now been resolved and I can confirm that no data was accessed or stolen during the attack.
"The school has been open as normal throughout this incident and we have kept parents fully informed.
"We will be conducting a full investigation into the incident and will look to see if there are any areas where our cyber security can be strengthened."
